Yes to both. All of our web servers are multi-processor, RAID servers using Intel® Pentium 4® technology, running at 2 gigahertz with 2 gigabytes of physical memory, and multiple DS-3 Internet backbone connectivity.

Are your web servers monitored continuously? |

Yes. All our web servers are monitored twenty four hours a day, seven days a week by our own staff as well as by independant third party monitoring services.

How long will it take to setup my new account? |

Most accounts are ready to go within twenty four hours.

There are absolutely no "hidden" or "extra" fees? |

None. So long as your site stays within its storage limits and reasonable bandwidth, your fee will remain the same. If your site grows beyond its current plan, it will be automatically upgraded to the next higher plan the following month.

Where do I register my domain name? |

If you are registering a new domain name with your hosting account, we will register it for you, it is included in the set-up fee. If you are using an existing domain name we will transfer the registration to our service for you, also for free, so that you may access all your domain registration information through your AIT Domain Manager.

Do you support Microsoft Front Page® extensions? |

Yes. We recommend that you read the "Web Design F.A.Q." section before deciding to publish pages made with this program. Even when used properly, most HTML editing software can produce web pages that are extremely limited in their functionality.

Are merchant accounts difficult to obtain? |

Not at all. Merchant accounts are readily available to virtually anyone with an active checking account. If you need assistance aquiring a merchant account, we are familiar with numerous reputable providers.

Do I need to have a merchant account to do business online? |
| A. |
No, but it is highly recommended that you have one. Our shopping cart software has the ability to accept off line orders as well, however 99% of all web site purchases are currently credit card transactions.

If I transfer hosting services from another company, will my web site be down during the transition? |

No. Simply upload your site to our server before modifying the domain nameservers with your registrar. That way, when the Internic database is updated, your transition will be seamless.

Shopping cart software is included free with every account? |

Yes. Every account includes our award-winning shopping cart software. Additionally, you may install any CGI-Perl based shopping cart software you wish to use. We also have servers configured especially for Miva® product support.

Can I install and run my own CGI scripts? |

Yes. Every account includes it's own cgi-bin. We have a library of free scripts for your use, or you are more than welcome to provide your own.

Can I run my own mailing list? |

Yes you can. If you do run a mailing list, please keep in mind that we have an absolute "No Tolerance" policy for spamming. If you are caught spamming, you will not get a second chance.

Yes. Every account includes a control panel for managing email and other administrative functions.

Do you offer Microsoft Windows® hosting packages? |

Yes. We have servers available running Windows Server 2003® upon request. However, due to security vulnerabilities inherent to all Windows® operating systems we do not recommend this platform.
